Hi! I’m Rebecca.

I am so glad you’re here. I am a nurturing, playful therapist who believes all children and families grieving the death of a loved-one have a unique story and deserve emotional, relational, and coping support

My Approach

What separates me from a traditional therapist? I have advanced training in the psychosocial needs of children and adolescents and the use of creativity and play to support cooping and growth.  I won’t simply talk at your child. We will talk, play, and create in together.

Using talk therapy in addition to dramatic play, storytelling, imagination, embodiment, and creative writing, I engage in therapeutic dialogue with children and adolescents through their natural language- that of play and creativity.

As a therapist, it is my job to support your child in expressing emotions, understanding their thoughts, feelings and emotions, practicing coping strategies, and strengthening bonds. Treatment is always tailored toward a child’s developmental level, interests, and the specific needs of each family.
